Editorial methodology
Formula first. Routine second. Hype last.
Our recommendations are shopping starting points built from concern fit, ingredient logic, texture and routine compatibility.
1. We begin with intent
Keyword research identifies the real questions shoppers ask. Close variants are consolidated into one strong page when they share the same answer, helping readers and preventing cannibalization.
2. We verify the catalog connection
Products and product-specific URLs are returned through our connected Amazon affiliate manager using the EyeCream.app tracking ID. We do not invent ASINs, image URLs or affiliate destinations. We omit prices because they can change.
3. We compare the complete formula job
We look at the concern addressed, highlighted ingredients, texture, AM or PM role, sensitivity considerations and how a product fits beside moisturizer, sunscreen, makeup or other active skincare.
4. We avoid medical and guaranteed claims
We use language such as appearance of, visible and may help when discussing cosmetic outcomes. Products are not presented as cures for eye disease, permanent bag removal or alternatives to professional evaluation.
5. Affiliate status does not buy rank
Amazon links may earn us a commission, but paid ranking positions are not offered inside the Match Lab. Products score against the answers selected by the visitor.
6. We review and update
Pages carry review dates. We revisit high-traffic guides, product availability and interlinking, then use real search and click data to prioritize future updates.
